Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cyber Rakshak mobile application and web services ("Service") provided by Laabam One Business Solutions OPC Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "us").

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Cyber Rakshak is a cyber safety and evidence platform. What these Terms cover depends on what you have bought and on what has been released:

• Windows protection. Scanning of files and removable drives against our hosted signature feed, device security checks, and quarantine of what you choose to quarantine.
• Your account and records. Sign-in, and storage of the evidence and incident records you submit.
• Mobile safety app — in development. Safety modes, SOS and in-app threat checks are not released. Nothing here is a promise that a particular feature will ship, or ship on a particular date.
• Web & server security — not yet available. It is listed on our pricing page so the catalogue is complete, and it cannot be purchased.

Anything described on this site as planned, in development or coming at launch forms no part of the Service until it is released.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Children Safety Mode may be set up by a parent/legal guardian for minors
• You must have legal authority to install the app on the device you use

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your PIN/credentials secure and confidential
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use the Service to monitor anyone without their consent
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or bypass security features
• Not upload false or fabricated evidence
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws while using the Service

5. Consent & Permissions

Cyber Rakshak operates on a consent-first model. The Service will request specific permissions only when needed:

• Microphone: For audio recording during SOS events only
• Location: For GPS tagging of evidence and SOS tracking
• Camera: For evidence capture
• Storage: For saving and attaching evidence files

The app does not read your SMS inbox, your call log or your contacts, and does not ask for permission to. Anything you want checked, you submit yourself.

You may revoke any permission at any time in your device settings, and withdraw a consent you have recorded with us by writing to privacy@cyberrakshak.ai. Revoking a permission disables the associated feature.

6. Evidence & Legal Validity

• Evidence is immutable once captured — the platform refuses to delete a record or to rewrite what was captured; only details added later can change
• Every record is timestamped and may carry the GPS position of capture
• Each record stores a SHA-256 fingerprint calculated on the capturing device at the moment of capture. We store that value unchanged. We do not currently re-compute it on our servers, so it is your device’s record of the file rather than an independent check by us
• Evidence endpoints refuse to operate until the matching consent has been recorded
• We make no claim that evidence held in Cyber Rakshak is court-admissible, and we do not guarantee that it will be accepted by any court or authority. Admissibility is for the court to decide on the facts of your case
• You are responsible for the truthfulness and integrity of evidence you capture

7. Subscription & Payments

Every account starts with a 90-day free trial, with no payment details required.

Which plans exist, what each one covers and what it costs are listed on our pricing page. All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST; the amount shown is the amount debited.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. To change or end a subscription, write to support@cyberrakshak.ai — there is no self-service screen for it yet.

A first purchase can be refunded in full within 7 days if the paid features have not been used, and we always refund duplicate or post-cancellation charges. The full terms, including what is not refundable, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use Cyber Rakshak to:

• Stalk, harass, or monitor another person without their consent
• Fabricate or tamper with evidence
• File false complaints or reports
• Circumvent security measures or exploit vulnerabilities
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
• Violate any Indian law or regulation
• Use for commercial surveillance or espionage

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy in threat detection and evidence integrity, we do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy in threat detection (false positives/negatives may occur)
• Uninterrupted availability of the Service
• Legal acceptance of evidence in any specific jurisdiction
• Guaranteed response times from emergency services

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the Cyber Rakshak brand — are owned by Laabam One Business Solutions OPC Pvt Ltd and are protected by Indian copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by writing to privacy@cyberrakshak.ai from your registered email address. Upon deletion:

• We stop using your account and remove the personal data we hold for you, except where the law requires us to keep it
• Evidence records cannot be deleted through the app at all — the platform is built so that an evidence record cannot be altered, and that also means it refuses deletion. Say in your request what you want done with anything you have submitted and we will deal with it by hand
• Records we are required to keep, such as audit logs and payment records, are kept for as long as Indian law requires
• Your subscription is cancelled, so nothing further is charged; whether the current period is refundable is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be published on this page before they take effect, and the date above will say when. Your continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
